PLEASE NOTE the date change for the 2010 SPORTS DTS.

It will now start SEPTEMBER 14, 2010!

Mendoza’s sports ministry will be offering the Sports Adventure DTS beginning in September 14, 2010. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) will be five months- three months of theory phase and two months of practical outreach. During both phases you will grow more intimate in your relationship with God as you learn more about his character and his purposes for you life! Discover God’s heart for sports and how we can reflect Christ in the sports arena!

This year we will be offering an optional added challenge of a summit attempt on Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas and in the Western Hemisphere.  The summit challenge will be part of the DTS practical phase and will be an outreach to the adventure tourism industry and international mountain climbing community that is attracted to Mendoza every year to climb Mount Aconcagua!  This past February 2010,  YWAM Mendoza sent its first staff expedition up the mountain and four of the team members successful made the summit!

Their will be an outreach option for those who choose not to be a part of the Aconcagua summit challenge as their practical phase.

It will now start SEPTEMBER 14, 2010!

Beginning in September of this year we are challenging students interested in learning more about God’s heart for counseling ministry to take a year for God by taking the Counseling-focused Discipleship Training School and the Biblical Counseling School back-to-back.  Through the course of both of these schools students will grow more intimate in their relationship with God, learn about His heart for counseling, and be challenged to be used by Him to bring healing and restoration to our broken and hurting society.
